Wimberley Lodging - Paintbrush Ranch
The love of music brought owners Lewis and Caron Knight to The ACL Festival in 2005. That weekend we
ventured south in search of a beautiful country ride. Caron said to Lewis "I always thought one day I would open
a B&B." and Lewis replied “I know exactly where to take you.” We drove about 15 minutes west on Ranch Road
12 and there it was perched on a hill overlooking the Hills of Wimberley. Caron's love of art, light, open space and
the desire to paint combined with Lewis’ appreciation of food, entertaining and the Hill Country that he visited
many times became brushstrokes for the creation of Paintbrush Ranch.
The dream of Paintbrush Ranch came to life through our shared love of the natural landscape of Hill Country, the
gift of hospitality plus an appreciation of art, music and the many cultural interests that the Wimberley Valley area
offers. Our mini ranch can be your year round choice for some summer fun or a romantic winter escape. Our
"Paintbrush Lodge" reflects our passion for collecting art, cooking and truly creating all the comforts of home.
